Hope Alive Christian Center began meeting in the Stanley Elementary gymnasium on January 8th 1989. Not long after that, the church purchased 27 acres nearby on 159th street. Construction of a new church home began in mid-1994, with the entire project being accomplished debt free!
While a lot has changed over the past twenty years, the values and principles that have built the church are still in place and continue to guide us. We believe the church ought to be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God and get involved in His purposes. It's that kind of church that the Lord has established here - a place of discovery, a place where you can experience God's presence, and a place to savor all that's good about life. We're family, and we love being together!
We believe that God has brought us here and set us in this place to build a Spirit-filled, Word-formed church, commissioned to raise up true disciples of Jesus Christ who know God personally and are actively fulfilling their purpose and finding their destiny. After all, “You have been fearfully and wonderfully made” Ps.139:14.
We trust that on the pages of this site you'll find answers to the questions you might have about God, life and the church. Again, we would be honored to serve you in any way we can!
